Ratfolk Monk by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
He has walked a thousand roads in those worn sandals, studied under masters whose names are whispered only in dark temples, and he has no intention of explaining himself to you.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This ratfolk monk carries himself with the measured calm of someone who has already calculated exactly how this conversation ends. Dressed in flowing robes with layered shoulder armour and decorative tassels — a hint of rank, or perhaps of ceremony — he leans upon a gnarled wooden staff with the easy confidence of a fighter who doesn't need to look threatening to be dangerous. His long tail curls behind him, and the detail on his fur-textured face rewards a close look: sharp eyes, slightly parted teeth, an expression that says he's three moves ahead of everyone at the table.
Whether you're playing a Nezumi-inspired campaign, statting him out as a Way of the Open Hand monk PC, or casting him as a wry and enigmatic quest-giver in the back room of a dockside tea house, this sculpt has the presence to carry the scene. Equally at home behind the DM screen or displayed on a shelf, the level of detail across the robes, staff, and armour makes him a rewarding paint project too.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Want a characterful ratfolk or nezumi monk for a player character
- Need a memorable NPC — a sage, a shifu, a faction leader with secrets
- Are building an Underdark or eastern-flavoured campaign setting
- Enjoy painting detailed humanoid sculpts with rich texture and personality
- Collect anthropomorphic fantasy miniatures for display
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at a crossroads shrine to find a ratfolk elder already there, leaning on his staff and watching them approach with an expression of mild amusement. He speaks before they can: "I know which road you're considering. I'd advise against it. However —" he tilts his head "— I may be persuaded to walk it with you, for a price worth discussing."

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model on the detailed base comes as a single piece; the version with a plain base is supplied with the base detached for easy gluing. Ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box — some minor marks from support removal are possible and easily tidied up.
