Rat Folk Rogue Spear by Epic Miniatures
Description
In the lamp-lit alleys of the lower city, where the guild's reach extends even into the sewers, the rat-folk do not merely survive — they thrive, and they are very, very fast with a spear.

This ratfolk rogue is caught in a dynamic, mid-combat pose — both clawed hands gripping a long spear low across the body, weight shifted forward as though driving into a thrust or deflecting a blow. The sculpt captures a lithe, upright bipedal ratfolk warrior wearing layered, worn armour with detailed cloth wrapping on the arms and legs, scaled skin texture across the body, and a long rat tail sweeping out behind. The face is sharp and alert, with prominent ears and whiskers, giving the character a cunning, street-smart presence that reads clearly even at 32mm scale.
The listing includes two sculpt variants of this character — the main pose shows the spear held across the body in a low guard, whilst the second variant depicts the figure lunging forward with spear raised overhead, tail and limbs extended dramatically. Both share the same core design language and armour style, making them work naturally as a pair on the table or shelf.
As a sculpt, this mini has real personality. The wrapping on the limbs and the layered cloth-and-scale armour give a painter plenty of surface variation to work with — washes and drybrushing will bring out the scale texture beautifully, and the face offers great opportunities for OSL or spot colour on the eyes. Whether you're using this as a player character rogue, a guild enforcer, or a dangerous encounter lurking in the underdark, the pose communicates threat and speed in equal measure.
A good fit for adventurers who:
- Play or DM ratfolk, skaven-inspired, or mousefolk-adjacent characters
- Want a rogue or monk PC mini with a distinctive, non-humanoid silhouette
- Are building out urban guild encounters, thieves' dens, or sewer-dwelling factions
- Love collecting character sculpts with genuine dynamism and detail
Encounter Hook: The party has been tasked with recovering a stolen ledger from the Clawmark Guild — a ratfolk thieves' syndicate operating out of the city's drainage network. When they descend into the sewers, they find the entrance guarded by a pair of ratfolk spearfighters in tight formation, their weapons angled low in the narrow tunnel, giving the party no room to manoeuvre. Roll for initiative.
