Rat Bomber by Epic Miniatures
Description
Down in the sewers and warrens beneath the city, where the smell of powder and something worse hangs in the air, the Rat Bomber grins — skull bomb in one claw, dagger in the other, and entirely too much confidence for someone who smells like that.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This ratfolk demolitionist is a character brimming with personality — crouched in a low, ready stance that radiates equal parts menace and gleeful chaos. In one hand he holds a grinning skull bomb, fuse twisted and ready; in the other, a short dagger rests at his side. His back bears a heavy contraption of cylindrical canisters — clearly a purpose-built explosive rig of some improvised but deadly design. Armour wraps his torso in layered leather and lash-work, with bandaged forearms and clawed feet adding to the scrappy, streetwise aesthetic.
His expression — what you can make of it beneath the battered snout and scarred features — is that of someone who has calculated the blast radius and decided it is someone else's problem. This is a miniature that tells a full story before a single dice is rolled: veteran, volatile, and very hard to negotiate with.
The sculpt captures the kind of grizzled, world-weary energy that separates a simple pest from a genuine threat. Whether you're running a skaven-inspired faction, a thieves' guild gone badly wrong, or a chaotic underworld campaign, this mini earns its place on the board.
A brilliant choice for adventurers who:
- Run ratfolk warbands, thieves' guilds, or sewer-dwelling factions
- Need a memorable miniboss or roguish NPC with serious demolition credentials
- Want to field an Artificer or Rogue player character with a chaotic edge
- Are building skaven-style forces or undercity encounter tables
- Appreciate characterful sculpts that double as display pieces
Encounter Hook: The party has tracked the stolen shipment of alchemist's fire to a series of tunnels beneath the Merchant Quarter — but something keeps blowing up the route markers they leave behind. Scratches in the stone suggest claws. The smell of char and something rodent-like is getting stronger. Somewhere ahead, a small laugh echoes off the walls, followed by the distinctive sound of a fuse being lit.
