This is a raptor caught at the precise moment of confrontation — frill fanned out in full threat display, jaws stretched open mid-roar, body weight shifted forward on those wickedly curved talons. The sculpt is covered in intricate overlapping scale and feather textures across the chest, neck, and limbs, with smooth, taut skin along the flanks and a long whip-like tail that sweeps dramatically upward and back. It sits on a large 51mm round base, which suits its scale and presence on the tabletop.
The frill and feathered crest at the crown of the head give this raptor a distinctly alien quality — somewhere between a velociraptor and something far older and stranger. For Dungeon Masters running wilderness campaigns, Chult expeditions, or any lost-world setting, this miniature brings real threat to the encounter mat. Painters will find the layered feather detail on the chest particularly rewarding to pick out, and the bold roaring pose makes it a natural centrepiece for a predator pack.
Note that this miniature uses a large 51mm base, making it noticeably bigger than a standard 32mm figure on the table — scale it appropriately when placing it alongside your party.
