Rakshasas are among the most devious fiends in the multiverse — shapeshifters of infernal cunning who weave themselves into courts, guilds, and councils, pulling strings from behind masks of respectability. This sculpt captures one in her true form: a tall, imperious figure in layered armour and a flowing gown, her leonine face framed by sweeping, spike-edged shoulder plating and a magnificent crown of spiralling horns. Her arms are raised and spread slightly at her sides — not in threat, but in the quiet authority of someone who already knows she has won. Clawed fingers and the subtle tension in her stance speak to a creature that does not bother with obvious displays of power.
The detail across this sculpt rewards careful brushwork. The interlocking geometric panels of her midriff armour contrast beautifully with the layered fabric of her gown, and the radiating spines at her shoulders give her silhouette an almost regal ferocity. Paint her in deep jewel tones — rich purples, burnished golds, and blood-dark reds — or go pale and ghostly for a colder, more unsettling presence. Either approach will bring out the craftsmanship baked into every fold and surface.
This miniature works equally well as a high-stakes encounter piece on the gaming table and as a display model for your collection. She is the sort of sculpt that draws the eye from across the shelf.
Adventurers who'll love this miniature:
- Dungeon Masters staging a Rakshasa mastermind revealed at the climax of a political intrigue arc
- Players running a Tiefling or fiend-touched Warlock who needs a patron or rival of genuine presence
- Collectors drawn to fiendish creatures with exceptional sculptural detail
- Campaign builders developing a Nine Hells or Avernus storyline with named villains
Encounter Hook: The party has spent three sessions navigating the baroness's court, trading favours and uncovering conspiracies — only to realise, too late, that the baroness herself has not left her chambers in a month. The figure who has been directing them, testing them, and quietly eliminating their allies sets down her wine glass, lets her illusion dissolve, and spreads her clawed hands in welcome. The Rakshasa has been watching this entire time. Now she'd like to discuss terms.
