Raccoons are easy to underestimate, and that's precisely what makes them such compelling additions to the tabletop. Whether you need a woodland familiar, a druid's curious companion, an alchemist's scavenging pet, or simply a touch of living nature to breathe life into a forest clearing, this miniature captures the animal's stocky, low-slung frame and alert expression with genuine charm. The sculpt shows the raccoon in a grounded, prowling stance — body forward, weight centred, that characteristic thick tail trailing behind — conveying the animal's unhurried confidence without tipping into aggression.
The level of surface detail is impressive at this scale: individual fur texture ripples across the body, and the broad, blunt muzzle and rounded ears are faithfully rendered. This is the kind of piece that elevates an encounter map or sits beautifully on a display shelf alongside larger beasts and monsters.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need wildlife and creature tokens for forest, swamp, or rural encounters
- Play or DM with a druid, ranger, or beast master who wants a fitting companion model
- Are building naturalistic dioramas or themed display collections
- Want a small, characterful piece that doubles as an NPC or environmental detail
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a missing villager into the Thornwood for two days when a raccoon darts across the path — wearing a bracelet the villager's mother recognises immediately. It sits, stares, and waits. Whether it's a druid's familiar, a polymorphed scout, or simply an animal drawn to something shiny near a body, the Dungeon Master knows. The raccoon does not explain itself.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The miniature comes attached to its sculpted round base as a single piece, ready for priming and painting. Supplied unpainted — as seen in the product image, the sculpt is presented in unprimed resin tone, which showcases the surface detail clearly before any paint is applied. Minor support marks may occasionally be present; these are easily cleaned up with fine sandpaper or a craft knife.
