Rabbitfolk Monk w/ Giant Tortoise by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
Patience is not weakness — and when your mount is a giant tortoise, you have learned to trust the journey entirely.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This rabbitfolk monk has transcended the urgency of the race. Seated in deep meditation atop the broad, textured shell of a giant tortoise, robes falling loosely around a cross-legged pose, fingers held in a mudra of perfect stillness — this is a character who has found enlightenment at a very deliberate pace. The sculpt captures every fold of fabric, every scute on the tortoise's shell, and the serene, slightly knowing expression of someone who has absolutely heard your haste and disagrees with it entirely.
Whether you're playing a Way of the Open Hand monk who has bonded with their ancient companion, building an NPC sage who carries wisdom across the land at their own speed, or simply looking for a display piece that tells a story without saying a word, this miniature earns its space on any shelf or tabletop. The tortoise's heavy, deliberate form grounds the whole composition beautifully — this is a two-character piece as much as a single miniature.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Play or run rabbitfolk monk characters seeking a distinctive mounted pose
- Need a wandering sage, enlightened hermit, or philosophical NPC for their campaign
- Want a display piece that rewards close attention to sculpt detail
- Are building a bestiary encounter with an unexpected, memorable twist
Encounter Hook:
The party spots a figure approaching along the road — a meditative rabbitfolk, eyes half-closed, seated cross-legged atop a slow-moving giant tortoise. They've been watching the party for twenty minutes and have not yet seen fit to hurry. When they finally draw close enough to speak, they say only: "You are going the wrong way. You have been going the wrong way for three days. I have been deciding whether it is my place to mention it."
Scaled to 32mm. The model comes attached to an integrated scenic base with ground texture detail. Printed in high-quality resin — supports are removed before dispatch, and each piece is fully cured. As with all resin prints, minor surface marks may occasionally occur; these are easily addressed before painting. Ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box.
