Quorenderi – The Deep One Reborn by DM Stash

Something ancient stirred beneath the harbour of Westlook — and when the lighthouse keeper's lantern went dark, the sea itself began to scream.

Quorenderi is not merely a monster — it is a reckoning. This colossal sculpt depicts a many-headed, tentacled abomination rising from churning coastal waters, its body a grotesque fusion of cephalopod mass, barnacled hide, and leathery wings spread wide enough to blot out the sky. Clusters of hollow eyes cover its flanks like wound tissue; curling, writhing tentacles cascade from a central maw-face; cruel horns and jutting spines break the silhouette in every direction. It is the kind of creature that does not attack — it arrives, and the world reorganises itself around the fact of its presence.

The sculpt's decorative base is as richly detailed as the creature itself. A crumbling coastal lighthouse — complete with winding stairs, worn stonework and a lantern platform — is consumed by the beast's encroaching mass, the water at its feet carved into crashing waves strewn with debris. Tiny figures can be spotted clinging to the tower's base, a moment of narrative scale that makes Quorenderi's sheer enormity visceral rather than merely theoretical. The multipart construction allows the piece to be assembled with care, and the result is a centrepiece worthy of the most climactic session you will ever run.

Whether placed at the centre of a nautical campaign's final act, used as a display centrepiece on a painting shelf, or fielded as the ultimate encounter in a Lovecraftian horror arc, Quorenderi commands the table in a way that very few sculpts can. The level of surface texture across every element — the creature's skin, the lighthouse brickwork, the seafoam base — rewards careful painting at every skill level.

• Brings genuine narrative scale to deep-sea or coastal horror campaigns
• A centrepiece painting project with extraordinary surface texture throughout
• The lighthouse diorama base tells its own tragic story
• Suits campaigns drawing on Lovecraftian, aquatic, or elder-god themes
• Equally compelling as a display piece and as a table encounter

Encounter Hook
The party has tracked the source of Westlook's coastal disappearances to the old lighthouse at Shepherd's Point. As they climb the cliff path by night, the structure lurches — and the thing wrapped around it opens its eyes. Every single one of them. The sea pulls back. Then Quorenderi speaks, not in words but in a pressure behind the eyes, and the party realises this is not a monster they were sent to fight. It is a god that has decided they are worth noticing.
