Description

Before the priests could finish their chant, the sky split open and the feathered serpent descended — scales rippling like obsidian water, great wings unfurling to blot out the sun.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Quetzalcoatl is one of mythology's most arresting figures: a divine serpent clothed in feathers, coiling between the mortal world and the heavens. This sculpt by La Louve 3D captures that celestial power beautifully — the body winds upward in a tight, dynamic spiral, broad feathered wings spread wide at the crest, and the scaled head turns with a focused, predatory calm. Every individual scale is sharply defined across the coiling length of the body, and the layered feathers cascade in convincing detail from wing to spine. It reads as both ancient deity and apex predator, which is exactly what it should be.

Whether you're placing it as a god-touched guardian in a Mesoamerican-inspired setting, a legendary boss encounter for a high-level party, or a centrepiece for your display shelf, this miniature commands attention at the tabletop and off it.

Perfect for adventurers who:
  • Need a mythic, deity-tier boss monster for a climactic encounter
  • Are running campaigns with ancient civilisation, jungle ruin, or divine pantheon themes
  • Want a large-scale serpentine creature that doubles as a display piece
  • Enjoy painting highly textured, layered sculpts with scales and feathers

Encounter Hook:
The party has climbed to the apex of the sunken pyramid, the jade idol in hand — and the air goes utterly still. A low harmonic hum rises from nowhere, the stone beneath their feet begins to tremble, and from the canopy below a vast coiling shape ascends: the feathered serpent, old as the city itself, awakened by the theft of its offering.

Scaled to 32mm. The model and base are supplied as separate pieces and can be fixed together with a small amount of glue — the sculpt interacts with its base, so it looks its best when displayed together. The miniature arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be used as-is straight from the box.
