Description

She does not rule through fear alone — she rules through the hive mind, the skull-strewn throne, and the simple fact that no one who has entered her court has ever left it.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Queen of the Hive is one of those miniatures that stops a table cold. Sculpted by Great Grimoire, she rises from a base of layered insect husks, bones, and monstrous carapace, her willowy form draped in a gown that seems to grow from the carnage beneath her. A garland of skulls hangs across her waist. Her translucent teal wings catch the light like something fragile — though nothing about her is fragile. Horned crown. Arms folded. Entirely unconcerned by your party's arrival.

This is a miniature built for the Feywild at its most dangerous — not the whimsical, dancing-light version, but the old, hungry, territorial kind. She works brilliantly as a campaign's central villain, a bargaining entity of terrible power, or the dark heart of a corrupted fey court. Equally at home on a display shelf as she is on the battlemat.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a BBEG with genuine presence and an unforgettable silhouette
  • Are running Feywild arcs, fey court intrigues, or corrupted nature campaigns
  • Want a centrepiece miniature that doubles as a display piece
  • Enjoy painting elaborate, detail-rich sculpts with layered textures

Encounter Hook:
The druid who hired the party to find her missing grove-wardens is standing very still. The Queen of the Hive is already seated. On the floor around her throne, arranged with unsettling care, are six small bone crowns — one for each of the wardens. She has not looked up yet. She is waiting to see if the party kneels first.

This miniature is scaled to 35mm. If you would prefer 32mm scaling, send us a message and we will adjust it for you. A decorative base option is available — please include a note with your order specifying which of the three base styles you would like. Both decorative and plain black bases are included separately and can be attached with a small amount of glue.
