Queen of the Harvest Bust by Witchsong Miniatures
Description
She does not rule the harvest — she IS the harvest, and when the last lantern gutters out, her grinning face is all that remains.
- ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
The Queen of the Harvest is a large-format display bust depicting a sinister scarecrow-witch: a leering, carved pumpkin head set beneath an enormous, tattered wide-brim hat, her shoulders wrapped in ragged, leaf-like robes that seem to rustle even in still air. Her crossed arms and downward gaze give her the unsettling air of something patient — something that has been waiting at the edge of the field far longer than any of us have been alive. This is a character sculpt that rewards a careful painter: the textured gourd-flesh of her face, the layered folds of her hat, and the organic roughness of her collar offer real depth for blending, OSL, and weathering techniques.
As a bust rather than a full miniature, the Queen of the Harvest is crafted for display and painting projects first and foremost — she belongs on a shelf, a painting competition entry board, or the DM's desk as a prop to set the tone for an autumn hex crawl. She is equally at home inspiring the identity of a coven matriarch, a Feywild harvest spirit, or the hollow-eyed patron of a cursed village.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Want a substantial, characterful display piece to paint and showcase
- Are building a themed Halloween or dark harvest collection
- Need a visual centrepiece for an autumn or Feywild D&D session
- Enjoy busts that offer rich surface texture and expressive character detail
- Are looking for a memorable NPC or villain to anchor a horror-themed campaign
Encounter Hook:
The village of Ashenmoor hasn't had a failed harvest in living memory — but this year the crops came in black and rotten, and every scarecrow in the fields has turned to face the village. At the centre of the oldest field stands a figure the locals swear wasn't there yesterday: tall, still, grinning. The Queen of the Harvest has come to collect what she is owed.
This listing is for the Queen of the Harvest Bust as a single display piece. Printed at high resolution to capture the fine surface detail of the sculpt. Supplied unpainted and unassembled where applicable; minor clean-up may be required as with all resin display models.
