This is pose 1 of our Quaggoth Brute range from Novaminis, and it is a commanding presence on the tabletop. The sculpt captures the creature mid-advance — shoulders low, clawed hands splayed wide, jaw open to reveal a full rack of jagged teeth. Matted, layered fur covers the broad torso, tangled with braided rope-like trophies and a scattering of small skulls adorning the shoulders. Ridged spines and insectoid wing-stubs rise from the back, hinting at the feral savagery these creatures carry into every fight. The oversized claws on the right hand are especially well-realised — each finger a distinct, curving talon rendered with the kind of detail that rewards careful painting.

Quaggoths in D&D are Underdark bruisers — once enslaved by the drow, now feral and territorial, and entirely capable of tearing an unprepared adventuring party apart with their bare hands. This sculpt leans hard into that identity. Encounter Hook:

The trail of deep claw gouges in the tunnel floor leads forward, not back. Something large is still ahead of them, and it has not fled.

Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. If you need a different scale, get in touch and we will sort it out.
