This is Quaggoth 05 — the fifth sculpt in Yasashii Kyojin Studio's Quaggoth range, and one of the most viscerally threatening of the set. Where other poses stand tall or brandish weapons, this one is low, coiled, and utterly focused. The hunched spine, the splayed claws, the jaw dropped in a snarl — everything about this sculpt reads as a creature mid-pounce, a heartbeat before impact. A ridge of dense, layered fur runs from the crown of the skull down the back, rendered with extraordinary feather-like texture that catches light beautifully whether on the gaming table or a display shelf.

Quaggoths in D&D lore are notoriously difficult to intimidate — feral humanoids who have lost any trace of fear, driven mad by generations in the Underdark. This sculpt captures that berserker quality with real conviction. One claw grips a crude blade; the other reaches forward as though the sculptor caught the creature mid-spring. Bring this to the table as an Underdark ambush predator, a corrupted thrall serving a mind flayer colony, or — if your party has deeply upset someone important — a very personal message delivered with claws.

Encounter Hook:
The party has just crossed into the third level of the dungeon when the lantern light catches something ahead — a figure crouched impossibly low, claws pressed to the stone floor, head tilted at an angle no living thing should manage. It doesn't growl. It doesn't move. It simply waits for them to come closer.

Quaggoth 05 is printed at 32mm scale and supplied unpainted, primed and ready for painting or use straight from the box. A plain black base is available as an optional add-on — it ships unattached so you can glue it in place yourself. Support marks are removed as standard; minor surface imperfections may occasionally remain from the print process and can be cleaned up easily before painting.
