Quadrone Bundle by Novaminis
Description
In the clockwork halls of Mechanus, the Quadrone does not question its purpose — it simply executes, with four arms, absolute precision, and a face that suggests it has opinions it is not authorised to express.
- ✔ Multi-miniature bundle — multiple variations in one order
- ✔ 32mm scale resin, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ All pieces supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Great value for building out encounter groups or display collections
Modrons are among the most delightfully bizarre entries in the D&D bestiary: extraplanar constructs of pure law, endlessly processing, endlessly obedient, and somehow deeply unsettling in a way that no amount of geometric logic can fully explain. The Quadrone sits mid-hierarchy — capable enough to fight, organised enough to command lesser Modrons, and alien enough to make even seasoned adventurers do a double-take. This bundle brings you both sculpted poses from Novaminis' Quadrone range, each one a rivet-studded cube of barely-contained mechanical intent.
Pose 01 captures the Quadrone mid-stride, both spinning blade-wheels raised and its expressively moulded face twisted into something between concentration and contempt. Pose 02 takes a wider, more confrontational stance — one wheel fanned across its back, its jointed arms gesturing with a confidence that borders on insubordination. Both sculpts are packed with mechanical detail: bolted plating, articulated limb joints, angular block feet, and those extraordinary starburst blades that serve as weapons, wings, or possibly just fashion choices. Novaminis have given these constructs genuine character — they read as creatures with inner lives, which makes them all the more unnerving.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Are running a Planescape, Spelljammer, or Mechanus-adjacent campaign and need authentic Modron presence on the table
- Want both Quadrone poses to populate an encounter with variety and tactical interest
- Are building a Modron hierarchy display — these pair naturally with Monodrones, Duodrones, and Tridrones
- Collect constructs, clockwork creatures, or outsider miniatures for display and painting projects
- Want to save over buying each pose separately
Encounter Hook:
The party intercepts a Modron March through a remote mountain pass — but one Quadrone has broken from formation, its face locked in an expression of what can only be described as panic. It attempts to deliver a coded message before three of its kin close in to drag it back into the procession. Whatever it was carrying, the Great Modron March does not want the party to see it.
This bundle includes both Quadrone 01 and Quadrone 02. Both minis are printed at 32mm scale and come ready to prime and paint, or use straight from the box. Supports are removed as standard, and each piece is quality checked before dispatch. A small number of minor marks from the print process may occasionally be present and are easily cleaned up.
