Description

He does not rule by force or spell — he rules by string, and every soul in the city dances to his tune without ever knowing it.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Puppeteer is one of those miniatures that stops a table cold the moment it hits the mat. Clad in a long dramatic coat and top hat, this towering figure holds aloft a web of thick rope from which half a dozen wooden marionettes hang — limp, vacant, waiting. His many arms (some his own, some perhaps not) spread wide like a stage curtain about to fall, and the marionettes at his feet complete the scene: a showman, a manipulator, a predator dressed as entertainment. Whether you use him as a crime lord who pulls the strings of an entire thieves' guild, a fey trickster with a theatre motif, or a full-blown boss monster from the Ravenloft tradition of beautifully terrible villains, this sculpt carries weight at any table.

The detail on this piece is exceptional — the individual rope fibres, the articulated joints of the marionettes, the layered fabric of his cloak, and the unsettling calm of his expression all reward careful painting. Equally striking left in bare resin on a display shelf.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable, theatrical villain to anchor a campaign arc
  • Are running a Ravenloft, carnival, or urban intrigue storyline
  • Want a showpiece NPC that commands immediate attention at the table
  • Are collectors seeking a centrepiece sculpt worthy of display

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to find a missing merchant, but every lead circles back to the same name — whispered, never spoken aloud. When they finally trace it to a candlelit theatre beneath the city, the stage is empty except for one figure standing motionless in the centre, surrounded by dangling marionettes. One of them is wearing the merchant's ring. The Puppeteer smiles. "Welcome," he says, "I've been expecting you. You've been on my strings for weeks."

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. This is a multi-part model — the marionettes and extended arms are separate pieces, easily assembled with super glue. Supports are removed as standard; minor clean-up may occasionally be needed and is straightforward. Equally suited to gaming and display collecting.
