The Psurlon is one of the stranger corners of D&D's cosmology — a psionic worm-creature of considerable intelligence and unsettling calm, the kind of monster that communicates not by speaking but by simply deciding what you will think next. This sculpt by The Toadstool Weaver captures that eerie composure with real conviction. The creature's segmented, grub-like body hunches low, its stubby clawed limbs braced against the ground, while its upper torso rises with an almost dignified bearing. A loose, open robe or cloak drapes across its shoulders — the universal sartorial choice of beings who consider themselves above armour. One clawed hand extends forward with a gesture that might be a greeting, a warning, or simply a demonstration of what it is about to do to your frontal lobe.

The face — if you can call it that — is a blank, smooth expanse of pale flesh interrupted by a single dark, multi-faceted eye socket, ringed with a ring of small dark orifices. There is no obvious mouth. There does not need to be. The sculpt leans into that alien wrongness with purpose: the proportions are humanoid enough to register as deliberate and intelligent, but every specific detail is off just enough to remind you this is no humanoid at all.
