This is pose 2 of our Psionic Goblin range from The Toadstool Weaver — and where the first pose might suggest threat, this one screams focus. The sculpt captures a goblin in a deep fighting stance, one fist raised in a coiled guard, the other hand trailing wisps of psionic energy at his fingertips. His expression is all controlled menace — brow furrowed, jaw set, eyes locked on a target. Wrapped wrists, a studded chest piece, and a flowing sash give him the aesthetic of a martial artist who has walked a very strange path to enlightenment.
For Dungeon Masters, this is a gift. Goblins are usually laughed off as cannon fodder — but place this one across the table and watch the party reassess. He reads immediately as something different: a creature who has cultivated discipline where his kin found only chaos. Whether you build him as a Githzerai-touched outlier, a psionic experiment gone feral, or simply a goblin monk who meditated his way to terrifying competence, his presence at the table tells the story before you say a word. He works equally well as a display piece for collectors who appreciate character in their miniatures.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a standout goblin that surprises players expecting easy XP
- Are building an Underdark or psionic-themed encounter
- Want a monk-class goblin player character mini
- Collect character-driven sculpts with real personality
Encounter Hook:
The goblin encampment outside Ashveil has gone quiet — no raiding, no noise, nothing for three days. When the party investigates, they find the rest of the tribe kneeling in a rough circle around a lone figure meditating at the centre. He does not open his eyes when they enter. He simply says: "I was wondering when someone would come." The camp is spotless. The tribe looks afraid of him.
