Nesbit is a dwarf of restless curiosity and questionable caution, the sort of character who treats every dungeon corridor as a potential laboratory. Armed with a smoking potion bomb in one hand and an outstretched palm that could be an offer of friendship or a pre-emptive apology, he strides across a rubble-strewn base with the confidence of someone who's survived at least three of his own experiments. His long coat is engraved with knotwork trim and loaded with pouches, straps, and a Celtic-patterned canister hanging at his hip — every inch of him reads as a dwarf who plans for everything except the obvious.
The sculpt rewards painters who love layers of texture: the braided beard, the quilted trousers, the rope-detailed sleeves, and the intricate knotwork coat lining all sit cleanly across the model. Spin him around and there's even more to discover — a rune-etched coat back, a packed harness, and a second potion orb ready at his belt. He works brilliantly as a dwarf Artificer or Alchemist player character, a rogue alchemist NPC, an eccentric quest-giver, or a rival inventor whose latest creation has just gone very wrong.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Play dwarf Artificers, Alchemists, or inventor-flavoured characters
- Want a named NPC with a distinct profession and personality baked into the sculpt
- Are running campaigns where a potion merchant, rival chemist, or eccentric sage fits the story
- Collect character minis with exceptional surface detail for display as well as gaming
Encounter Hook:
The party tracks a string of bizarre magical incidents to a cramped workshop beneath the merchant quarter — and finds Nesbit standing ankle-deep in shattered glass, one potion still smoking in his hand, utterly convinced the explosion was a breakthrough rather than a disaster. He needs the party's help recovering the ingredient that just blew out through the ceiling. He's offering generous payment. He's also clearly going to do it again.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic rubble base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue is all that's needed to attach them. Nesbit does interact with his base in a satisfying way, so we recommend using it as sculpted. As with all our minis, some minor marks from the print process are possible; these are easy to tidy up before priming.
