Description
They said his experiments had gone too far — but Professor Hazard simply adjusted his goggles, raised his rod, and let the thing in the cauldron do the talking.

Professor Hazard is not a man who does things quietly. Wild white hair escaping in every direction, brass-ringed goggles pushed up on his brow, and a battle-worn coat bristling with pouches of volatile curiosities — he carries himself with the absolute conviction of someone who has never once doubted his own genius. In one hand he raises a slim iron rod crackling with eldritch energy; with the other he eggs on his creation: a grotesque, spike-studded plant creature erupting from a bubbling cauldron on a fire-scorched base, its coiling vine-like body terminating in a gaping, many-toothed maw. This is not a familiar you chose. This is a familiar that chose you back, and it is furious.
The sculpt from Great Grimoire captures every detail of this eccentric alchemist-artificer archetype — knee guards strapped over ragged trousers, a belt lined with glowing vials, scarred knuckles, and a grin that suggests he knows exactly how badly this could go and considers that a feature rather than a flaw. Whether you run him as a rogue archmage, a rival artificer, a morally ambiguous quest-giver, or the final boss of a dungeon crawl gone very wrong, Professor Hazard commands the table the moment he lands on it.
Professor Hazard suits adventurers who:
- Need a memorable NPC — a rival scholar, eccentric alchemist, or unhinged artificer
- Are playing an Artificer, Wizard, or Warlock and want a standout player character mini
- Want a centrepiece model that doubles as a display piece and a gaming piece
- Love character-driven sculpts packed with storytelling detail
Encounter Hook:
The party descends into the sub-levels of the Artificers' Guild to find the source of the tremors — and there he is: Professor Hazard, knee-deep in broken equipment, his monstrous plant creature coiled around a humming arcane generator, cackling that the experiment is going magnificently. He has no interest in being stopped. He has every interest in being watched.
