Prisoner 02 is the second variation in Novaminis' prisoner range, and where Prisoner 01 may skulk or cower, this figure does neither. He stands with arms flung wide, spine slightly twisted, his loose stitched tunic and battered trousers hanging off a gaunt frame. His head is largely bald save for long, lank hair falling behind him, and his expression — wide-eyed, toothy, somewhere between deranged laughter and a plea — is the sort that makes a Dungeon Master very happy and a party of adventurers very uneasy.

The sculpt is rich in telling detail: stitched seams run down the sides of his trousers like a crude repair job, his collar is rough and worn, and the open-handed gesture of both arms could read a dozen different ways depending on the scene. Is he surrendering? Welcoming his rescuers? Presenting himself as bait? The ambiguity is half the point. On the table, this mini does exactly what a great NPC sculpt should — it raises questions the players will immediately want answered.
