Prince of Wisdom (Tharanais) by DM Stash

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Tharanais, Prince of Wisdom, is no battle-scarred warlord. He is something far more dangerous: a figure of absolute authority and accumulated knowledge, standing at the balustrade of some high marble terrace as candlelight flickers around him. His layered robes are edged with intricate filigree scrollwork, and his woven hood frames a calm, deliberate expression — the look of someone who already knows how this encounter ends. In one hand he holds a stack of bound tomes and scroll cases; across his body, further documents are gathered like a second armour. The sculpt captures a scholar-prince mid-thought, unhurried and entirely in command.
The scenic base is a work in itself — a stone balcony with turned balusters, ornate pillar caps, and clusters of dripping candles scattered at his feet. Every surface rewards a careful paintbrush. Whether you're placing him behind a negotiating table as a powerful quest-giver, staging him as the true power behind a noble court, or setting him atop a display shelf as the centrepiece of a lore-heavy collection, this miniature carries genuine narrative weight. Equally suited to Wizard, Cleric, or Warlock builds, he makes an evocative player character base or a formidable NPC.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need a high-authority NPC — a sage lord, arcane advisor, or hidden manipulator
- Are building a Wizard, Cleric, or Warlock character with a noble or scholarly aesthetic
- Want a display piece with a scenic base that rewards detailed painting
- Are running intrigue-heavy campaigns where knowledge is the most dangerous weapon
Encounter Hook:
The party has been summoned to the upper gallery of the Arcanum — not for a reward, but to be informed, quietly and precisely, that they have already been working for Tharanais for three sessions without realising it. He sets his scrolls down. He waits for their questions. He has already written the answers.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and scenic balcony base are printed as separate pieces and attach cleanly with a small amount of super glue. The base is an integral part of the composition — the candles and architectural details are designed to complement the figure's stance. Minor surface marks from the print process are possible and straightforward to address before painting. Supplied unpainted and ready to prime.
