This is the Primitive Hut 01 from Novaminis — a raised stilt dwelling packed with character and detail. The conical thatched roof is lashed with rope cord and adorned with horn-like finials at the eaves, while the cylindrical upper structure is clad in tight-bound bamboo poles. Below, a sturdy platform is supported by gnarled timber stilts braced with cross-beamed lattices, leaving open space underneath that's just right for ambushes, troll lairs, or nervous PCs creeping into a hostile village. A small window opening breaks one side of the wall, hinting at a lived-in, functional interior.
Whether you're building a lizardfolk settlement, a yuan-ti outpost, a goblin shantytown, or a remote druidic enclave, this hut brings immediate environmental storytelling to your battle map. It pairs naturally with other pieces from the Novaminis Primitive range and works equally well as a centrepiece for a display diorama.

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a missing cartographer for three days. As they break through the tree canopy, they find a cluster of stilt huts draped in unfamiliar totems — and the cartographer's satchel dangling from a rope beneath the largest one. Something moves in the shadows between the stilts. Roll for initiative.
This terrain piece is scaled to 32mm. A plain black base is available as an optional add-on and comes unattached — a small amount of glue is all that's needed to secure it. The model arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight away as bare resin on your table.
