The Roper is one of the most insidious predators the Underdark has to offer — a creature of tooth, tentacle, and terrible patience. Epic Miniatures' Primeval Roper captures that horror beautifully. The sculpt depicts a massive, vaguely conical mass of gnarled, bark-like flesh rising from a rocky outcrop base, its surface a lattice of deep vertical striations that give it the uncanny appearance of ancient deadwood or compressed stone. From this hulking body, five long, sinuous tentacles coil outward in different directions — some raised high, others dragging near the base — each one tapering to a hooked, fang-like tip. At the creature's centre, a cavernous maw dominates, ringed with rows of irregular, recurved teeth and opening onto a throat of darkness. Above it, a single lidded eye stares outward with cold, alien awareness.

This is a Huge-base sculpt, sitting on a 76.5mm oval base, which means it commands serious table presence. The integrated scenic base features broken stalagmite formations pushing up through the ground around the creature's flanks, reinforcing the sense that this thing has lurked in the deep earth for an age, becoming part of the geology itself.
