This female cleric miniature captures the cleric not as a healer lurking at the back rank, but as a frontline champion of divine will. Clad in scale armour with a flowing surcoat and a broad kite shield strapped to her left arm, she drives forward mid-stride, her flanged mace swept high overhead in a moment of righteous momentum. Her expression is fierce and open-mouthed — a battle-cry, a prayer, or both — with her hair loose beneath a close-fitted helm. This is a cleric who answers her god's call with steel as readily as scripture.
