Encounter Hook

The party is summoned before the Princess Posse's inner circle — ostensibly to receive a reward for their last job. But when they arrive, it is Prepotente who receives them, not the princess herself. She looks them over with the slow, appraising gaze of someone deciding whether the furniture is worth keeping, then tells them the terms have changed. The princess is unavailable. The party will deal with her, now, on her terms. Anyone who objects is welcome to leave — through the window.
