Description

They say the Powderbone never misses — not because she was a crack shot in life, but because death has given her all the time in the world to aim.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Rising from the ship's deck in a swirl of spectral smoke, Powderbone is a skeletal pirate revenant clutching an oversized blunderbuss with the grim confidence of someone who has already died once and found it largely inconvenient. Her tricorn hat — adorned with a skull-and-crossbones emblem — sits atop a skull framed by wild, flowing locks that billow as though caught in a permanent sea gale. Her lower half dissolves into a ghostly tail of ethereal flame and smoke, anchored to a base of weathered ship's planking beside a stout powder barrel, hinting at the very explosive manner in which she may have met her end.

The sculpt is rich with characterful detail: bony fingers gripping the barrel of the blunderbuss, a coat layered with pirate accoutrements, and an expression that can only be described as the grin of someone who has nothing left to lose. She reads equally well as an undead crew member, a vengeful ghost haunting a sunken galleon, or a fearsome boss encounter in a nautical campaign arc. Painted in sea-weathered greys and spectral greens, or decked out in faded pirate colours, she promises to be a centrepiece on both the gaming table and the display shelf.

Powderbone is a multipart sculpt offered with a choice of decorative scenic base (the ship-deck plank base you see in the render) or a plain base for those who prefer a cleaner look or wish to integrate her into a custom diorama.

Particularly well suited to adventurers who:

  • Run pirate-themed campaigns, nautical adventures, or haunted ship encounters
  • Want a characterful undead enemy or ghostly NPC with immediate table presence
  • Are building a crew of spectral buccaneers for a Ghosts of Saltmarsh or similar arc
  • Enjoy painting ethereal, translucent, or OSL (Object Source Lighting) effects
  • Collect display-quality pirate or undead miniatures for the shelf

Encounter Hook

The party's ship has drifted into a fog bank that smells of gunpowder and brine. From the mist, the sound of a flintlock being cocked — slow, deliberate, patient. Then a voice like crackling tinder: "I waited thirty years at the bottom of this ocean. I can wait a little longer. Can you?" Powderbone materialises at the prow, blunderbuss levelled, her powder barrel glowing faintly at her side.
