Description

It wears the hat, the waistcoat, the cravat — and where a face should be, there is simply nothing at all, save for the slow curl of tentacles rising behind it like smoke from a dying fire.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Plasmoid Warlock is one of the stranger sights in any Spelljammer or Underdark campaign — a being of shifting, formless matter who has nonetheless committed wholeheartedly to the aesthetic of a Victorian-era gentleman. This sculpt captures that uncanny contradiction with sharp detail: a buttoned waistcoat, wide-brimmed top hat, and a featureless oval where the face ought to be, all framed by a dramatic crown of writhing tentacles. The base is scattered with skulls, hinting at the cost of the pact that powers every eldritch blast.

Whether you're playing a plasmoid character from Spelljammer: Adventures in Space, statting up a mysterious warlock patron's emissary, or running an Underdark faction led by something deeply unsettling in a very nice hat, this mini brings immediate presence to the table. It works equally well as a display piece — the tentacle arrangement gives it real visual drama from every angle.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Are playing a plasmoid warlock as their player character
  • Need an unsettling NPC — a patron's avatar, a guild enforcer, or a Spelljammer crew member
  • Run Spelljammer, Underdark, or cosmic horror-adjacent campaigns
  • Want a display miniature with strong visual impact and a unique silhouette
  • Love painting challenging, texture-rich sculpts with lots of organic detail

Encounter Hook:
The party's contact in the Rock of Bral is late. When he finally arrives at the agreed tavern booth, the regulars have quietly moved to the other end of the room. He slides into the seat across from the adventurers, adjusts his hat with fingers that seem to have one too many joints, and sets a small object on the table — a severed hand, still warm. "The previous team left this behind," he says pleasantly. "I thought it polite to return it."
