  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Planar Panther Beast is a creature that defies easy categorisation — and that's exactly what makes it so unnerving. Its body is feline in silhouette: four powerful limbs, a long scaled tail, and a low, stalking crouch that speaks of ambush and speed. But where a natural predator ends, this one does not. From its back rise long, sinuous tentacles — one tipped with a splayed claw, another curling upward like a whip coiled mid-strike. Its head is armoured with bony ridges and a maw of bared teeth, the whole face drawn forward in a snarl. Ridged scales run the length of the spine and tail, giving it a texture that sits somewhere between reptile and extraplanar horror.

The sculpt captures the creature in full hunting mode — weight forward, claws splayed, tentacles raised and ready. It reads as something that crossed into this plane with a purpose, and that purpose is not peaceful. Whether you place it on the gaming table as a CR-appropriate monstrosity or paint it as a centrepiece for your display shelf, the silhouette alone is enough to give your players pause.

As a large-based miniature on a 51mm oval, it commands real physical presence among your collection. The musculature is deeply defined — sinew and scale rendered with the detail that rewards careful brushwork, from the banded tail segments to the ribbed tentacle surfaces and the angular planes of that armoured skull.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a large extraplanar predator for a Planescape, Spelljammer, or homebrew planar campaign
  • Want a creature that reads as genuinely alien rather than a reskinned natural beast
  • Are looking for a dramatic painting project with rich surface texture across multiple body types
  • Run encounters where the monster's silhouette alone should provoke a reaction from the party

Encounter Hook

The party's tracker spots tracks in the Astral dust — catlike, but too wide, and flanked by strange circular impressions at irregular intervals. Then the mist ahead shifts. Something is crouched between two collapsed archways, tentacles raised, watching them the way a panther watches a deer that hasn't yet noticed it's already too late.
