This is Plague Doctor 04 from Yasashii Kyojin Studio — the fourth sculpt in their distinctive plague doctor range, and easily one of the most characterful of the set. Robed in a heavy cloak with a wide-brimmed hood, this stooped figure clutches a bulbous potion flask in one raised hand whilst cradling a clutch of stoppered vials against their chest with the other. The iconic beaked mask sits low over a hooded cowl, and a belt loaded with pouches and tools completes the look of a practitioner who never travels unprepared. The sculpt has a slightly cartoonish, exaggerated quality — broad shoulders, compact silhouette — that makes it a natural fit for both gritty narrative campaigns and more theatrical settings like Ravenloft or a plague-ridden city-state.

At 23mm to the top of the mask, this mini sits naturally at the tabletop with other 32mm-scale figures. Whether you place this figure behind a tavern counter doling out dubious cures, or send it striding through a quarantined district with more knowledge than they're letting on, the sculpt carries its own story before a single brushstroke is applied. Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a series of suspicious deaths in the merchant quarter — each victim found with identical puncture marks and an empty vial nearby. Their only lead is a figure seen leaving the scene: short, robed, beaked mask, arms full of bottles. When they finally corner the Plague Doctor in a candlelit cellar laboratory, he doesn't run. He simply holds up a glowing flask and says, very calmly, "You'll want to hear me out before you do anything rash."

Details

This miniature is printed at 32mm scale and measures approximately 23mm to the top of the mask. It is available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Support marks are removed as standard; as with all hand-finished prints, minor imperfections can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up.
