Description

The farmers thought the sickness had passed — until something lowed in the dark, and it answered itself.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This grotesque creature is the Plague Cow: a two-headed, wasting beast twisted by corruption and disease. The sculpt captures every harrowing detail — gaunt flanks stretched over visible ribs, sagging skin folded in sickly ridges, and two distinct bovine heads sharing a single ruined body. One head droops low, eyes half-closed and distant; the other stares forward with unsettling focus, small horns curving upward as though it still remembers what it once was. This is not a monster built from sharp edges and rage — it's a creature of slow, creeping wrongness, and that makes it far more disturbing at the table.

Whether you're running a Nurgle-flavoured horror campaign, a cursed agricultural region blighted by a warlock's pact gone wrong, or a disease-touched encounter in the vein of classic D&D monstrosity tables, the Plague Cow earns its place. It works equally well as a wandering encounter, a centrepiece for a corrupted village scene, or a deeply unsettling display piece for collectors who appreciate body-horror creature design done with craft and restraint.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Run dark fantasy or horror-adjacent D&D campaigns
  • Need a memorable, low-CR-feeling threat with strong visual storytelling
  • Are building cursed farmland, plague-touched wilderness, or corrupted village encounters
  • Collect unusual and grotesque creature miniatures for display
  • Want a striking centrepiece that sparks immediate questions from players

Encounter Hook:
The party is sent to investigate why the village of Brineford has stopped sending grain to the city. On the road in, they find the fences broken outward — not inward — and a low, discordant lowing coming from the far field. As they approach, two heads rise from behind the hedgerow. Only one of them blinks.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. The sculpt is pre-supported for clean print quality, though minor marks are a natural part of the printing process and can be tidied up before priming. Arrives fully cured and ready to paint.
