Bartholomew François cuts an unmistakable figure — a battle-hardened captain who carries the weight of authority in every line of his weathered face. Sculpted from the Uncharted Kingdoms: The Mighty Stone collection by Primal Collectibles, this miniature depicts him in a heavy naval frock coat with epaulette shoulders, a broad tricorn hat, and a cutlass held low at his side with the easy confidence of a man who has never needed to raise his voice twice. His other hand draws his coat aside, ready for action — or perhaps to reveal something far more dangerous than a blade. The sculpted base weaves together coiled rope and unfurled sea-charts, grounding him firmly in the world of maritime adventure.
Three distinct poses are available in the Bartholomew François range. This listing showcases the full character in his most commanding stance — ideal for a Dungeon Master who wants a centrepiece NPC, or a player running a swashbuckling seafarer with a complicated past. Whether you're building out a pirate fleet, running a nautical campaign, or simply want a characterful figure for your display shelf, this sculpt earns its place at the table.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a charismatic, morally ambiguous pirate captain as a recurring NPC or questgiver
- Are playing a Fighter, Rogue, or Swashbuckler with a seafaring backstory
- Want a detailed, display-worthy centrepiece for a nautical or coastal campaign
- Collect character minis from independent fantasy sculpt ranges
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at a fog-shrouded harbour town to find a single ship at anchor — no crew visible, no flag flying. At the dockside tavern, Bartholomew François is already waiting for them, a rolled chart on the table and a half-empty glass in hand. He knows something about the cargo they were hired to recover. Whether he intends to help them or simply make their lives considerably more complicated remains, for now, entirely unclear.
