Description
Head tilted skyward, feathers blazing with ancient pride, the phoenix waits — patient as embers, dangerous as fire.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This sculpt from Mia Kay M3DM captures the phoenix not mid-inferno, but in a moment of composed, watchful power. Perched atop a gnarled wooden post, talons gripping with easy confidence, the bird's head is raised and its layered feathers are rendered with extraordinary textural depth — each plume overlapping the next in a cascade that practically begs for a warm-toned paint scheme. A second, baseless variant shows the same pose grounded and ready for a custom base, offering flexibility for both display and gaming use.
Whether you're running a sun-blessed temple encounter, placing a sacred familiar on the DM's screen, or simply adding one of mythology's most iconic creatures to your painted collection, this sculpt carries genuine weight and character. It works equally well as a boss encounter focal piece, a divine companion NPC, or a display centrepiece that earns its shelf space.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a phoenix for D&D 5e, Pathfinder, or any TTRPG with celestial or elemental creatures
- Want a show-stopping piece for a fire-themed or divine adventure arc
- Are building a painted display collection of mythological or fantasy birds
- Play a Druid, Sorcerer, or Wizard with a dramatically appropriate familiar or companion
Encounter Hook:
The pilgrims spoke of a sacred bird that roosted in the ruins of the old solar temple — but when the party arrives, the phoenix is not alone. Three cultists kneel before it, chanting in Ignan, and the bird's eyes have turned the colour of forge-fire. Something is being attempted here. Something irreversible.
