- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Phaerimm is one of the Forgotten Realms' most unsettling aberrations — a bloated, magically potent horror that has terrorised the deep places of the world for millennia. This sculpt from Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures the creature in a crouching, predatory lunge: six splayed limbs braced against the ground, a bulging ridged torso rippling with unnatural musculature, and a forward-turned body dominated almost entirely by that iconic concentric ring of inward-curving teeth. At 70mm tall, this is a large-scale piece with genuine table presence — a centrepiece encounter rather than just another wandering monster.
The detail in this sculpt is extraordinary up close — each ring of serrated teeth in the spiralling maw is individually defined, the dorsal spines are sharply rendered, and the sinuous arms each end in hooked, grasping claws. Whether you paint it in deep subterranean blues and purples or keep it primed grey for immediate use, this is a miniature built to unsettle your players the moment it hits the table. Equally compelling as a display piece for collectors who appreciate genuinely unsettling creature design.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Run Underdark campaigns and want a visually distinctive elite threat
- Need a boss-level aberration with a memorable, horrifying silhouette
- Are building a Forgotten Realms-inspired collection featuring deep-world horrors
- Enjoy painting large creature miniatures with complex surface textures and sculptural detail
- Want a display piece that turns heads on the shelf as much as at the table
Encounter Hook:
The scouts sent into the lower tunnels don't return — but their equipment does, neatly arranged in a circle around a patch of floor that smells of ozone and old blood. The party's Detect Magic lights up the entire room. Something is feeding on the residual energy of every spell the scouts ever cast, and it hasn't finished yet.
This miniature is printed at 70mm scale, making it a large-footprint encounter piece suitable for use as a boss monster or major threat. It comes with a display base, detached, which can be secured with a small amount of glue. The sculpt arrives ready for priming and painting, or straight to the table as-is — please note that as with all high-detail large-format pieces, minor support marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
