The Pegasus is one of fantasy's most recognisable celestial creatures, and this sculpt by Yasashii Kyojin Studio does full justice to its mythic presence. Every primary feather is individually defined across dramatically spread wings, the musculature of the body carries genuine equine weight and power, and the rearing, alert pose captures a creature that is both wild and intelligent. This is pose 1 of the Pegasus range — front-facing and rearing with one foreleg raised, wings fully open in a grand display — making it a compelling centrepiece for any encounter or display shelf.
In D&D 5e, the Pegasus is a Celestial beast, often serving as a noble mount or guardian of sacred places. Whether you're running it as a wild creature the party must earn the trust of, a divine companion gifted by a deity, or a majestic encounter in the clouds above a mountain citadel, this miniature brings genuine gravitas to the table. It's equally at home as a display piece for collectors who want something that commands attention on a shelf.
A great fit for adventurers who:
- Run sky-based or high-altitude encounters in their D&D or Pathfinder campaigns
- Need a centrepiece creature for a Celestial-themed arc or divine questline
- Want a striking, characterful mount for a paladin or ranger
- Collect and paint fantasy creatures with exceptional feather and anatomical detail
- Are building a Feywild or planar travel adventure with memorable encounters
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tasked with retrieving a sacred relic from a clifftop temple — but when they arrive, a Pegasus stands guard at the entrance, wings spread wide, refusing to let anyone pass. The temple priests insist the creature only yields to those of pure intent. One party member has been lying about their true motives for three sessions. Now would be a good time for that to come out.
