Description
Small of stature, enormous of honour — this hamster paladin has sworn an oath that no dungeon shall go uncleared, no cheese go unguarded, and no evil go unchallenged.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
There is something quietly magnificent about a hamster who has taken the paladin's oath seriously. This rotund warrior stands upright in a defiant stance, sword raised and shield braced, wrapped in a flowing cape that trails behind with unmistakable gravitas. The shield bears a bold paw print emblem — the heraldic mark of whatever knightly order was brave (or perhaps just short-staffed) enough to accept him. His round cheeks and wide, earnest eyes give him a disarming charm, but the set of his jaw and the grip on that longsword suggest he means every word of his sacred vow.
The sculpt captures that wonderful tension between adorable and formidable that makes anthropomorphic miniatures so compelling. Every tuft of fur is rendered with care, and the detail on the shield boss and cape clasp reward close attention. He works equally well as a beloved player character — perhaps a mousefolk or harengon paladin reskinned to hamster proportions — or as a charming NPC knight in a whimsical setting. On the display shelf he makes a genuine centrepiece: a mini that invites a second look and always earns a grin.
This is a multipart sculpt, so assembly will be needed before priming — worth the effort for the crispness of detail it allows.
Particularly suits adventurers who:
- Run campaigns in whimsical, fey-touched, or anthropomorphic settings
- Want a paladin PC mini that stands out from the crowd
- Love painting expressive character faces and textured fur
- Enjoy collecting miniatures that bring personality as well as presence to the shelf
Encounter Hook
The party arrives in the market town of Burrow's End to find it under a protection contract administered by the Order of the Paw — a knightly brotherhood of hamster paladins who charge their fees in sunflower seeds and take their duties with absolute sincerity. Their champion, Sir Thistledown Roundcheekes, blocks the party's path to the guild hall and demands they prove themselves worthy allies before he'll let them pass. Roll Persuasion — or just offer him something from the bakery stall. He is, after all, still a hamster.
