Description
From the Far Sphere he descends — talon-first and blade drawn — a ranger who has tracked prey across planes that most mortals cannot name.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Horace of the Far Sphere is no ordinary birdfolk wanderer. Clad in fitted plate armour etched with feather-like detail, his great wings are spread wide in a moment of aerial combat — one curved blade raised overhead, the other held low and ready. His owl-like visage is fierce and intelligent, the gaze of a hunter who has never once missed his mark. The rocky base beneath his taloned feet is scattered with the remnants of a previous encounter, telling a story before a word of lore has been spoken.
This sculpt is built for drama. The wingspan alone dominates a display shelf, and on the tabletop it signals immediately to your players that whoever Horace is in your campaign — ally, antagonist, or something more complicated — he commands the room. Whether you use him as an owlkin ranger PC, a Far Realm-touched hunter NPC, or a powerful named villain with celestial origins twisted by planar travel, this miniature carries the weight of a character with genuine history.
A great choice for adventurers who:
- Play or DM owlkin, aarakocra, or kenku-adjacent birdfolk characters
- Need a winged ranger NPC with a distinct, memorable silhouette
- Want a showpiece miniature that works equally well on the table or the display shelf
- Are building encounters around Far Realm, planar, or dimensional travel storylines
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen astral compass — but when they track it to a moonlit cliffside, they find Horace already there, standing over three unconscious thieves, the compass in his hand and his wings half-spread. He doesn't explain how he got there. He simply tilts his head, fixes them with those amber eyes, and asks: "Were you sent by the same people who hired me?"
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model and base are supplied as separate pieces and can be joined with superglue — the scenic rocky base is designed to complement the pose and the two work best displayed together. As with all our miniatures, Horace arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight from the box in natural resin.
