This sculpt from Ella's Arcanum Minis is a feast of detail for painters and collectors alike. The figure stands in a confident, grounded stance — taloned feet planted, wings fully extended to reveal a pair of integrated mechanical crossbow-like contraptions mounted along the leading edges. The barn owl face is expressive even in its stillness, and the layered outfit — corset-style armour, cargo trousers, a flowing neckerchief — blends fantasy adventurer with steampunk engineer in a way that reads immediately as Artificer. The rifle itself is beautifully filigree-engraved, a proper artillerist's weapon rather than a simple prop.
Whether you're building an Owlin Artificer for a homebrew campaign, populating a city of sky-faring engineers, or simply want a centrepiece mini that commands a shelf, this figure delivers the character presence to back it up. The wing span makes this one genuinely dramatic at the table.
Brilliant for adventurers who:
- Are playing or DMing an Owlin or Owlfolk Artificer character
- Want a visually distinctive ranged combatant with mechanical wings
- Are running a steampunk, airship, or artificer-heavy campaign
- Collect bird-folk minis or fantasy humanoid characters
- Want a display piece that earns a second look
Encounter Hook:
Mid-flight over the trade district, a figure drops from the sky — wings locking into a controlled dive — and lands hard on the cobblestones in front of the party. The owlfolk artillerist straightens, raises her rifle, and cocks her head at a precise angle: "I've been looking for people like you. Word is you don't ask too many questions." She clearly expects an answer before her next breath.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model comes with the base attached as shown. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks are occasionally possible and can be tidied up before priming. The model is fully cured and ready for painting or immediate use on the table.
