Description

Half bear, half owl, entirely lethal — the owlbear needs no introduction to any adventurer who has survived one.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Few creatures in the wilderness inspire the same cold dread as the owlbear. This sculpt from Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures the beast in a low, prowling stance — head dipped, weight forward, every feather-scaled muscle coiled with intent. The surface detail is extraordinary: overlapping layers of feathers flow from the broad, rounded skull all the way down the haunches and limbs, each one individually sculpted with a depth that rewards close painting as much as across-the-table play. Tufted ear-tips sit above a heavy brow, and the wide, bear-like feet end in thick claws gripping the ground. This is a creature that fills the space it occupies.

Standing at 48mm tall, this is a properly imposing mini — large enough to dominate a forest clearing on your battle map without overwhelming a standard encounter grid. Equally at home on a Dungeon Master's shelf as it is on the table, it makes a formidable display piece for any TTRPG collector.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Run wilderness, forest, or hunting-ground encounters in D&D 5e or other TTRPGs
  • Need a large creature mini that reads clearly from across the table
  • Enjoy detailed paintwork — every individual feather is a tiny canvas
  • Want a statement display piece for a TTRPG collection or hobby shelf

Encounter Hook:
The ranger crouches at the tree line, finger pressed to their lips. Three sets of tracks — large, four-clawed, spaced wide — converge on the hollow where the party made camp last night. Somewhere above, a branch snaps. Then another. Then something drops.
