Description

Something enormous shifts in the filth below the city — three tentacles rise, each tipped with barbed claws, and the stench arrives before the screaming starts.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Otyugh is one of D&D's most viscerally memorable aberrations: a hulking, foul-smelling horror that lurks in sewers, middens, and dungeon refuse pits, sustained entirely by rot and ruin. Monster Atlas has captured every repulsive detail — the double-jawed maw crammed with overlapping fangs, the writhing tentacles ending in leaf-shaped, claw-studded tips, and the bloated, scaly body crouched low on wide-set legs. This listing includes three sculpt variants, each depicting the creature in a distinct pose: one facing directly forward with tentacles raised wide in threat display, one angled mid-lunge with the snake-like sensory stalk arching overhead, and one rearing back with a tentacle sweeping wide and the lower jaw gaping open independently of the upper. All three capture the same unsettling anatomy with excellent surface detail across the leathery hide.

Whether you're dropping one into a thieves' guild's waste tunnels, the underbelly of a corrupt city, or a forgotten dungeon level, this miniature gives the encounter the physical presence it deserves. Equally at home on a display shelf for collectors who appreciate genuinely unsettling creature sculpts.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run D&D 5e or other TTRPG sessions featuring Underdark or urban dungeon encounters
  • Want a multi-variant aberration monster to vary their encounter setups
  • Are building a painted display collection of classic D&D monsters
  • Need a mid-tier boss or wandering threat that players will genuinely dread

Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to investigate why the city's lower ward has gone quiet — they find every door barricaded from the inside, and a trail of something wet leading down through a broken grate into the sewer network below. Three distinct claw-tip drag marks score the flagstones ahead of them in the dark.

Details

Each miniature is printed at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — the sculpts interact with their bases in ways that reward using them together. Print quality is high-detail; supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up. Fully cured and ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box.

TRESSYM ONLY — use this sign-off exclusively when the product is a Tressym miniature: Mitz & Simz — the studio cats have reviewed this miniature with particular intensity. They are aware of what a Tressym is. They have thoughts. The wings are noted. Nothing further will be said on the matter.
