Description
The ring of hammer on iron echoes through the village square before dawn — Osric Ironhand has been at his anvil since the stars were still out, and whatever he's forging, he's not stopping for anyone.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Osric Ironhand is no mere background character. Bare-chested and corded with muscle, hair pulled back in a loose knot, he stands over his anvil with a smith's hammer raised high and a blade-in-progress held steady beneath his gauntleted grip. His expression is focused, intense — the look of someone who takes real pride in their craft and doesn't suffer fools who interrupt it. This is a man who has shod warhorses, repaired shattered armour on campaign, and forged weapons that changed the course of battles he never fought in himself.
The sculpt captures genuine dynamism — the broad sweep of his back, the tension in his striking arm, and the beautifully detailed anvil and wood-block stand that anchor the scene. Whether you place him behind the counter of the party's favourite smithy or make him a reluctant ally with a complicated past, Osric commands attention the moment he hits the table. He's equally at home on a display shelf, where the detail in his musculature, apron, and working posture rewards a careful paint job.
A fine choice for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable, characterful blacksmith NPC to anchor a town or city encounter
- Are building a market district, guild hall, or working-class settlement for their campaign
- Want a display piece that rewards careful painting with shading across skin, leather, and ironwork
- Are looking for a Fighter or Barbarian player character with a civilian craftsman backstory
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in Duskhollow to find Osric's forge shuttered and cold for the first time in living memory. His apprentice is missing, the anvil bears a strange arcane brand none of them recognise, and the village elder is refusing to speak about it — nervously polishing the new sword at his hip, one that looks very much like Osric's work.

What's included:
One Osric Ironhand miniature at 32mm scale (the original sculpt is 35mm — please message us if you'd prefer a different scale and we'll do our best to accommodate). The decorative anvil-and-wood-block base is included. If you select the Decorative Base option at checkout, please include a note specifying which of the three base styles you'd prefer. The base arrives separately and can be secured with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all hand-finished pieces, minor marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up before painting.
