This is pose 2 of our Orc Sentry range from Novaminis, and it carries itself with the coiled menace of a warrior who has held the line many times before. Clad in heavy chainmail with a spiked pauldron and horned helm, this sentry grips a long-hafted cleaver — part polearm, part execution tool — in a wide, threatening stance that says the checkpoint is closed and the discussion is over. The surface detail is rich throughout: layered chainmail skirting, studded leather across the torso, scarred knuckles, and ironbound boots that have kicked in more than a few doors.
Where pose 01 might be braced and watchful, this variant leans forward into confrontation — brilliant for moments of escalating tension at a fortress gate, tribal encampment perimeter, or the entrance to an orc warlord's stronghold. Equally at home on the gaming table as it is as a display piece on the shelf.

Encounter Hook:
The party reaches the iron bridge at dusk. A single orc sentry blocks the crossing, cleaver levelled, demanding they hand over the merchant they're escorting — or cross the ravine on foot. The warlord's banner above the far gatehouse suggests this is not a lone bandit making threats.
Scaled to 32mm and supplied unpainted, ready for priming and painting straight from the box. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. We do our best to quality check every piece; as with all printed miniatures, minor marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
