This is the second pose in our Orc Military Shaman range from Novaminis, and it carries every ounce of menace the first established. This war-shaman strides forward mid-ritual: one clawed hand outstretched in command or cursing, the other hoisting a brutally adorned totem staff crowned with a spiked skull and draped in feathers and chains. His wild rope-braided beard, insect headdress — complete with dragonfly wings — and ragged cloak stitched from battlefield scraps mark him as someone who speaks to spirits that the rest of the warband would rather not think about. Chainmail hangs at his waist, his boots are worn and heavy, and the whole silhouette radiates the kind of authority that comes from surviving things no one else has.
Novaminis have packed this sculpt with layered storytelling detail — the kind that rewards painters with hours of interesting decisions and gives DMs an NPC who immediately communicates his own history. Whether he's the spiritual commander of an orc warband, a rival faction's cursed elder, or a boss encounter in his own right, he earns his place on the table. Encounter Hook:
The party reaches the ridge overlooking the orc encampment just as the shaman drives his totem into the earth and begins to chant — three warriors collapse in the firelight, rise again with hollow eyes, and turn to face the treeline where the adventurers are hiding.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. The sculpt arrives support-free; as with all resin prints, minor surface marks are possible and can be tidied up before priming. Supplied unpainted and ready for your brushwork.
