This is pose 6 of the Heavy Orc Warrior range from Novaminis, and it captures a warrior mid-advance — thick-set, armoured from tusked jaw to hooked boot, and radiating the kind of brutal momentum that makes front-line fighters genuinely frightening on the table. His broadsword is extended in a wide sweeping arc while his massive spiked tower shield is braced forward, bolted iron slats and all. The spiked pauldrons, riveted chest armour, and knotwork skirt panels speak to an orc culture that values both function and fearsome appearance in equal measure.
The sculpt rewards painters who enjoy surface variety — there's studded leather, beaten iron, ornate braided detail across the lower armour, and a deeply characterful face locked in a battle-snarl. Encounter Hook:
The party reaches the bridge over the Ashwater Gorge only to find it held by a lone orc warrior who has chained himself to the parapet — his warlord's final order was to let no one pass, and he has been here for three days already. He doesn't want to fight. But he will.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Some minor imperfections from the printing process are possible and we quality-check every piece before it leaves us; any residual marks are easily tidied up. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming.
