This is pose 01 of the Orc Commander range from Novaminis, and it's a sculpt that earns its place at the head of any warband. The Commander stands broad and imposing, clad in layered spiked armour decorated with skulls and riveted plates. His horned helm is flanked by curved trophy spikes, and a sweep of cape falls behind him — the hallmark of a warlord who has survived long enough to demand a little theatre. In his right hand he carries a massive great axe, held low with the casual confidence of someone who has already decided how this ends. The base features scattered rubble, reinforcing the sense that this character is never far from the front line.
Whether you're placing him as a boss encounter in a frontier keep, building out an orc warband for a wilderness campaign, or adding a centrepiece villain to a display shelf, this sculpt carries the weight of command. Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the smouldering remains of a border village to find a single survivor — who warns them that the orc commander holding the northern pass has lined its entrance with the shields of every patrol sent to dislodge him, and is now demanding tribute from the closest town by sundown.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black round base — the base is supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. If you need a different scale, get in touch and we'll do our best to help. Each miniature is printed to order, arrives with supports removed, and is supplied unprimed and unpainted — ready for your brushwork or great straight out of the box as a display piece.
