Description
He doesn't announce himself — he simply steps from the treeline, arrows at his back and death in his eyes, and the forest goes quiet.
- ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
Brox is no ordinary orc warrior. Beneath that deep hood lies the calculating gaze of a Beastmaster who has spent decades mastering the wild — reading the wind, commanding creatures that would tear lesser hunters apart, and tracking prey across terrain no sane party would attempt. His sculpt captures that tension perfectly: arms crossed, a full quiver slung across his shoulder, layered armour speaking to hard-won battles rather than smithed finery. Every scratch and ridge in that plate tells a story.
Details
This is a bust rather than a full-body miniature, which means the focus is entirely on where it belongs — expression, texture, and the kind of upper-body storytelling detail that rewards a careful painter. The hooded face peering from shadow, the worn cloak hanging in ragged folds, the ornate geometric base — all of it is built to be displayed, admired, and painted with ambition. Whether Brox is destined for your display shelf or your campaign table as a fearsome NPC or Ranger inspiration piece, this sculpt earns its place in any collection.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Want a centrepiece bust with genuine character and atmosphere
- Are building a display collection of orc, ranger, or hunter characters
- Need a compelling NPC — a Beastmaster chieftain, a bounty hunter, a cursed warden of the wilds
- Are looking for a challenging and rewarding painting project with deep texture throughout
- Want visual inspiration for a D&D Ranger or Beastmaster character build
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to track a missing merchant caravan along the old forest road. Three days in, they find the wagons — empty, undamaged, not a soul in sight. Then, from the canopy above, a single arrow embeds itself in the earth at the lead character's feet. Pinned beneath it: a parchment bearing only a name. Brox. The merchant hired him first, apparently. And Brox doesn't share a contract.
Supplied as a resin bust at display scale. Printed with care to preserve the fine detail of the sculpt — the layered armour plating, the individual arrow shafts in the quiver, and the texture of the weathered cloak are all rendered with sharp resolution. Supplied unpainted and ready for primer.
