Orc Barbarian (Bruz) Bust by DM Stash
Description
He doesn't negotiate. He doesn't parley. He raises the maul, bares his tusks, and the conversation ends before it begins.
- ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
Bruz is every orc warlord your players have ever feared made manifest in sculpted form. This bust captures him mid-roar, a massive spiked maul hauled overhead with the casual confidence of someone who has never once needed a backup plan. His armour is a study in brutal pragmatism — layered plates, riveted pauldrons bristling with spikes, a sun-stamped chest piece suggesting allegiance to something primal and warlike. Heavy chains loop around the octagonal base, lending the whole piece a sense of contained ferocity — as though Bruz is barely held in check, and only just.
As a display bust rather than a standard tabletop miniature, every surface here is designed to reward the painter's brush: the deep ridges of orcish skin, the weathered texture of hammered iron armour, the coiled chain links pooling at his feet. Front and back are equally detailed — the rear view reveals gauntleted fists wrapped around that fearsome haft, the spiked shield visible over one shoulder. Whether displayed on a shelf or used as visual inspiration at the table, Bruz commands the room.
For adventurers who:
- Want a centrepiece display bust to paint and showcase
- Are building a collection of characterful fantasy villain sculpts
- Need a face to put to the orc warlord running the campaign's main faction
- Are searching for a detailed, painter-friendly project with strong surface texture throughout
Encounter Hook:
The party has spent three sessions dismantling Bruz's raiding network — burning supply caches, freeing captives, cutting off his lieutenants one by one. Now they stand at the threshold of his war-camp as dawn breaks, and the gates swing open without warning. Bruz himself steps out alone, maul across his shoulders, grinning with every tusk. "I was wondering when you'd get here," he says. "Took you long enough."
