This orc warrior cuts an unmistakably commanding silhouette — wide-legged stance, one gauntleted arm raised in a rallying bellow, the other brandishing a long, elegantly curved blade that has clearly seen extensive use. He wears a layered mix of pelts, bone trophies, and spiked metal armour, with a horned helm sitting atop a mane of wild, matted hair. Skull fetishes hang at his waist, and every surface of his kit tells the story of a fighter who loots the battlefield rather than visits an armoury.
The sculpt from Epic Miniatures carries the kind of detail that rewards patient painters — the textures shift from rough animal fur to hammered metal to worn leather, giving you a genuinely varied surface to work across. His expression, caught mid-roar, gives the miniature enormous presence whether he's terrorising a party mid-session or anchoring a painted display collection.
He works brilliantly as a veteran sergeant in an orc warband, a brutal mercenary captain who's switched allegiances one too many times, or the first (and loudest) wave of a mountain raid. Equally, he'd make a compelling half-orc barbarian or fighter for adventurers who like their player characters to look like they've already won a fight before the session begins.
This miniature comes with a choice of base options — either with a decorative base or without, depending on your basing preferences.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Run orc warbands, tribal armies, or highland raider encounters
- Want a standout sergeant or champion among a rank-and-file force
- Are building a ferocious barbarian or fighter player character
- Enjoy painting varied textures — fur, metal, bone and leather in one sculpt
- Collect display-worthy pieces that carry real character on the shelf
Encounter Hook: The party crests a ridge to find a highland settlement already burning. In the chaos below, one figure stands apart from the looting — an enormous orc warlord roaring orders at the raiders, his curved sword still clean. He isn't fighting. He's waiting to see if anyone worthy comes to stop him.
