Description

The warband falls still as the shaman raises a fistful of skulls skyward, the scorpion claw bound to his arm twitching with dark purpose — whatever spirit he is calling, it is not a friendly one.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This orc shaman is a commanding centrepiece for any warband encounter. Broad-shouldered and roaring mid-incantation, he clutches a cluster of skulls in one raised fist — trophies or spell components, the distinction is probably academic at this point. His other arm is bound with a large scorpion claw, strapped and wrapped with cord, suggesting a totem of pain and venom rather than a conventional weapon. A heavy, shaggy fur mantle covers his back and shoulders, and layered wrappings protect his forearms and lower legs. Bone fetishes and cord adornments hang from his belt, and his fanged, open-mouthed snarl gives the whole sculpt a sense of caught mid-ritual momentum.

The shaman fits naturally into orc warbands, tribal shamanic councils, or as a mid-tier boss encounter in a wilderness or mountain campaign. He reads equally well as a druid of savage inclination, a warlock bound to a primordial spirit, or a necromancer-adjacent figure drawing power from fallen enemies. His visual weight — that fur-covered back, the raised arm, the scorpion claw — makes him a reliable focal point on a crowded battle mat.

Two base options are available: a plain round base or a decorated base that adds scenic texture underfoot. Both sit on a medium 25.5mm footprint.

  • Adventurers building out a full orc warband with a named spellcaster
  • Dungeon Masters who want a shaman villain that reads as dangerous before initiative is even rolled
  • Painters who enjoy layering complex textures — fur, wrapped cord, bone, and weathered armour all in one sculpt
  • Collectors drawn to characterful monster sculpts that hold up equally well on a display shelf

Encounter Hook: The party tracks a missing merchant caravan into the highland foothills, only to find the wreckage arranged in a ritual circle. At the centre stands the shaman, chanting over the merchants' skulls — and the sound of drumming from the treeline suggests his warband is still very much present.
