Description

He has fought in a dozen campaigns and collected a scar from every one — the skull trophy on his chest is just the latest reminder of why his enemies stopped challenging him.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This orc warrior is built for the front line and he knows it. Clad in layered plate and studded armour, a broad spiked pauldron protecting each shoulder, he stands with the easy confidence of someone who has taken a blade to the face and kept walking. His left arm bears a heavy, angular shield — functional, weighty, and clearly well-used. His right is encased in a brutal spiked gauntlet-mace that ends in a vicious cluster of jagged spines, perfect for punching through armour or simply making an unforgettable first impression. A skull medallion hangs at his chest beneath a fur-trimmed cloak, and a crested helmet frames his broad, grim face.

The sculpt rewards the painter: there is tremendous surface variety to work with — smooth plate sitting against rough fur trim, studded leather belts crossing the torso, and the menacing texture of the spiked weapon arm. Whether you go for a disciplined warband livery or a savage, blood-worn campaign look, the detail is there to support it.

This is a multipart model and comes with your choice of base — a round decorative scenic base or a plain flat base, depending on which variant you select. Both sit on a 25.5mm medium footprint.

Suits adventurers who want to:

  • Field a credible, heavily armed orc soldier as a rank-and-file warband member or named lieutenant
  • Use a characterful melee brute as a recurring enemy or low-level BBEG stand-in
  • Build out an orc army encounter with a frontline shield-bearer leading the charge
  • Paint a technically demanding but deeply rewarding armoured warrior for their display shelf

Encounter Hook

The party hears the warband before they see it — a rhythmic clash of weapons on shields echoing through the canyon. When the orc standard-bearer steps into the torchlight, shield raised and spiked arm extended to halt his troops, it's clear this is no rabble. He waits. He is deciding whether the party are worth killing or worth recruiting.
