Every orc warband needs its standard-bearer — the one who rallies the mob, carries the tribe's gruesome colours, and announces the charge with a bone-rattling blast on the horn. This orc bannerman is that character rendered in gloriously grim detail. He stands broad and barrel-chested, clad in layered leather and plate armour decorated with a skull belt-clasp, his shaved head and thick braided beard giving him the look of a veteran who has outlasted dozens of campaigns. In one fist he grips a towering war standard — its crossbar mounted with curved horns and a beast skull, a tattered banner hanging beneath — while his other arm raises a great drinking horn in a gesture that reads equally as toast or taunt.

The sculpt rewards painters at every skill level. The layered armour panels, fur trim along the tassets, and the detailed knotwork wrapping of the banner pole all offer satisfying texture to pick out, while the smooth expanse of the banner itself is a canvas ready for freehand battle markings, clan runes, or a blood-daubed omen of your own devising.
